The Artist

Laurence grew up in Wellington, where his first solo exhibition took place in 1978 at the Peter McLeavey Gallery. Having received numerous awards from the Arts Council of New Zealand and travel grants for his photography, Aberhart now resides in Russell. His photography is laden with cultural history, as he captures its essence while evoking emotion.
